Capture Elite Skill but don't own campaign
I think I understand this issue but I want to make sure something hasn't changed.
I own Prophecies, Factions, and EoTN. I want to cap the Elite Skill Searing Flames. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Searing_Flames It says I can cap it from Borrguus Blisterbark in EoTN. But I think I can't cap the skill because I DON'T own Nightfall. If this is true, is there any work around for this (aside from buying Nightfall?) |

Sorry, but there is no work around other than buying Nightfall. I think you can still cap it though so it would be available immediately on acquiring NF though.

You shouldn't have a problem capturing the skill in EoTN from Borrguus Blisterbark in Sacnoth Valley.

As far as I can remember, you will not be able even to capture it, unless you own the Nightfall campaign. The same thing happened to me, when I wanted to capture Jagged Bones from Avar the Fallen in Jaga Moraine of Eotn, but I did not yet have Nightfall. I could see the skill, but I was unable to select and capture it.

You cannot cap skills in EotN if you do not own its base campaign, PERIOD.

cant cap it because Eotn is not a campaign.
To cap the elite you need to have Nightfall the original campaign it came from. Atleast i think you can cap it but can not use it |

You cannot cap a skill from a campaign you do not own.
EOTN offers alternative cap locations for many skills from other campaigns, but you cannot cap them unless you own the base campaign. |

As said before, you can't cap skills from campaigns you do not own. I only have Prof/EOTN and I went to CoF to cap a warrior elite off the boss on the first floor, but when I tried to cap, it had the padlock on the skill. =(

Why do they even have this "feature"? Let people capture the skills regardless, it's incentive to sell another game, rather than "can't touch this!".
